Absolutely not! They are simply a private industry that makes its money buying and selling information about citizens to anyone that will buy it.
Why Do I Need To Send My Credit Bureau Reports Back To “America, Fix Your Credit!”?
This is the only way that we can see what’s been changed, and the progress being made on your credit report and FICO score. Otherwise, we can’t tell you what has transpired with your credit report and scores. You definitely can feel safe sharing your credit report bureau reports with us, when you decide to allow us to help you and your credit scores.
How Long Will It Take To Restore My Credit?
The amount of time it takes differs for every client and circumstance. We like to project an average of about 3 to 6 months. From the time we receive your deposit you can expect the updated credit bureau reports in approximately 30-45 days.
What If I Don’t Hear From The Credit Bureaus?
If you don’t hear anything please let US know! Also, you should open every piece of mail that comes to you. The credit bureaus send their updates in plain white envelopes and their responses can be mistaken for junk mail. Although, sometimes the credit bureau doesn’t get your letter request through US Postal Mail, and sometimes they may try to ignore your request.
What Should I Do With The Credit Reports I Get Back From Credit Bureaus?
Make a copy for yourself, then US Postal Mail them to us.
What If I Got A Letter From TransUnion Saying They Don’t Take Disputes From Third Parties?
They have no way of telling that it came from a third party. That is just their way of prolonging the process and another measure they deploy to discourage you from doing anything at all.
What If Some Of the Credit Collectors Call Me?
Ask them for a toll free number to the collection agency customer services. Ask the collection customer service to give you a copy of the contract that you signed with their collection agency stating you owe them. Also called, “Validating the Debt”, the collection agency can’t collect from you if you do not have a signed contract with that particular collection agency.
What Can Be Disputed Off My Credit Bureau Reports?
